Rest & Reawaken

A Bali Retreat for Inner Renewal

April 24- May 1, 2026

Answering the Call for Something Deeper

What if the answer to your restlessness isn’t found in doing more, but in the powerful act of slowing down?
Sarah invites you to her sacred retreat “Rest and Reawaken” in Bali’s mystical vortexes, where ancient wisdom meets your modern soul, and something extraordinary happens in the space between letting go and coming home to yourself.

The Power of Slowing Down

In a world where being busy is often celebrated, Sarah offers a different path: the radical act of slowing down. In Bali’s sacred landscape, you’ll have the chance to:

  • Experience the healing effects of true rest and stillness
  • Absorb the natural energy of the Earth
  • Reconnect with your own inner rhythm

The Journey Inward

Rather than seeking change in the outside world, you’ll discover that the most meaningful journey is the one that leads you back to your authentic self. In the space between letting go of old patterns and coming home to who you truly are, transformation becomes possible. Your transformation awaits—step into the space where renewal and self-discovery meet.

Space is Limited.

Reserve your spot by August 30 to lock in special early bird rates.

Welcome to Rest and Reawaken - Bali!

I’m Sarah Brassard, and I’m so excited to share this once-in-a-lifetime journey with you.
I’m a transformational life coach, interfaith minister, yoga nidra facilitator, and 500+ hour certified yoga instructor with over 30 years of experience guiding others in healing and spiritual growth.

My approach centers on creating safe and nurturing spaces where transformation and self-healing can naturally unfold. I believe deeply in the importance of rest, renewal, and reconnecting with your inner resources as the foundation for lasting change. What I’ve learned through three decades of this work is that the most powerful medicine for healing comes from offering students and clients the chance to actually feel shifts and real behavioral changes in themselves, and what that takes is consistent practice and the right support throughout that experience.

Through my book Inside: A Guide to the Resources Within, I share practical, compassionate tools that help make spiritual and healing concepts clear and accessible. I try to bring authenticity and clarity to my work while holding sacred space for my clients, creating an environment where profound personal growth can happen and you can discover your own inner strength.

If you’re ready to begin your journey within, I’d be honored to walk alongside you as your guide.

We’re available throughout your stay to answer questions, offer guidance, and ensure you feel comfortable exploring this enchanting island.

Safety in Paradise: Bali is renowned as one of the safest destinations for solo travelers, particularly women. We enhance this natural safety with carefully selected accommodations, trusted local partnerships, and 24/7 support for any concerns or issues that may arise. Our retreat location offers the perfect balance of authentic Balinese experience and international comfort standards.

*Traveling solo to Bali is a transformative step toward self-discovery and empowerment. We’re here to ensure your first solo adventure is as smooth, enriching, and unforgettable as possible.

What should I pack?

Packing for Bali’s tropical climate and our retreat activities is easier than you might think! Here’s your comprehensive guide:

  • For Retreat Activities: Comfortable, breathable clothing for yoga, meditation, and traditional ceremonies – think lightweight cotton or linen in natural colors that respect local customs. Flowing pants, comfortable tops, and a modest cover-up are essential for temple visits.
  • For Bali’s Climate: Swimwear for our beautiful pool and nearby beaches, comfortable sandals for daily wear, and sturdy walking shoes for temple visits and nature excursions. Pack light layers since Bali’s tropical weather is warm year-round, but bring a light jacket or pashmina for air-conditioned spaces and cooler mountain evenings.
  • Personal Essentials: Your regular toiletries and any prescription medications (bring extra in case of delays). A journal for capturing your reflections and insights during this transformative experience. You’re welcome to bring your own yoga mat, if you prefer it; however, high-quality mats are also available at the retreat center.
  • Tech & Practical Items: A universal power adapter for Indonesia (Type C or F plugs) to keep your devices charged. Consider bringing a portable charger for day excursions.
  • Cultural Considerations: Modest clothing that covers the shoulders and knees is recommended for temple visits, as it shows respect for Balinese customs and ensures you can fully participate in our cultural experiences.
  • Pro Tips: Pack light and leave room in your luggage for beautiful Balinese textiles, handcrafted jewelry, and local treasures you’ll discover during your stay. Many participants say shopping for traditional sarongs and local crafts becomes one of their favorite retreat memories!
  • Remember, you’re heading to a tropical paradise where less is more – focus on comfort, breathability, and respect for local culture.

Do I need a visa or special travel documents?

You’ll need a passport that’s valid for at least six months beyond your departure date.

Many nationalities can obtain a visa upon arrival in Bali; however, visa requirements are subject to change.

We recommend checking the current entry requirements for your specific country well in advance of your travel date to ensure a smooth arrival.

How do I get to the retreat?

Your retreat takes place at the beautiful Floating Leaf Resort in Sukawati, Bali, Indonesia.

We’ve included airport transfers to and from Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in your package for convenience. Our group transportation is scheduled to arrive and depart within a specific time window.

If your flight arrives or departs outside these designated times, we can arrange private transportation for an additional cost.

Are flight and travel insurance included?

You’re responsible for securing your return flights to Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in Denpasar.

Airport transfers are included.

Travel insurance is highly recommended.

A suggested provider is Travel Guard.

Is travel insurance required?

Travel insurance is not technically required, but it is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for all participants.

Here’s why this is crucial:

NO REFUNDS Policy: Please understand that we operate under a strict no-refunds policy for all retreat bookings. Once your payment is processed, there are no exceptions for cancellations, changes, or unforeseen circumstances that prevent your attendance.

Essential Coverage: Travel insurance should cover medical emergencies, trip cancellations, interruptions, and lost luggage. Given our no-refunds policy, trip cancellation coverage becomes particularly important if illness, family emergencies, or other unforeseen events prevent you from attending.

Medical Protection: While Bali has good healthcare facilities in major areas, medical emergencies can be expensive for international visitors. Comprehensive travel insurance ensures you’re protected for everything from minor injuries to serious medical situations that might require evacuation.

Peace of Mind: With travel insurance, you can book your retreat with confidence, knowing that your investment is protected against circumstances beyond your control. Without it, you risk losing your entire retreat payment if you cannot attend for any reason.

Timing Matters: Purchase your travel insurance within 14-21 days of making your initial retreat deposit to ensure maximum coverage benefits, including coverage for pre-existing medical conditions.

We cannot stress enough the importance of securing comprehensive travel insurance before your trip. Given our no-refund policy, this protection serves as your safety net for this significant investment in your personal growth and travel experience.

A suggested provider to consider is Travel Guard.

While we encourage you to experience the activities we’ve thoughtfully designed, participation is entirely optional. This retreat is about honoring your personal journey and what feels right for you in each moment.
