Now is the Time, Power Up!

Self-care is a method of wellness that focuses on nurturing yourself so that you can be happier in your own life, healthier in your body, mind, and spirit.

Self-care is about trusting yourself and being aware of your needs. Knowing intimately what makes you happiest, safest and most secure. When we build our life’s foundation on this seed of honoring and consideration of our own experience, we have the tremendous capacity to do that for others too.

Next week I will launch two six month programs that will follow the practices and protocols in my book. These two Women’s Empowerment Programs are great opportunities to learn, grow, and share together for the first part of the year.

In the programs, I will guide you through simple self-care practices that combine ancient techniques and cutting-edge wellness systems to build a foundation of self-healing. The more you practice them, the more you will notice their value in relation to everything else you do. Through deep listening, you will gain information about your sensitivities; what makes you feel strong and inspired and what leaves you feeling drained and motionless.

Your inner world is vulnerable to the pain of the past, and when the pain is most intense and unresolved, it is tempting to want to move away from it or ignore it. Though it might seem easier to block off the feelings, even in a state of pain, your inner self holds the answers to your search for direction.

Self-care opens a dialogue with the most precious parts of who you are inside. Initiating practices that heal you from the inside out, sets your life in motion. This inner dialogue activates a state of calmness and strength so you can move ahead on your path to healing.

Self-care is a window into your life, and with a curious eye, you will gain expertise on who you are.  With each act of self-care, large or small, you gain invaluable personal knowledge. You direct your energy and focus inward, first, and from there, you fortify and balance your sense of self.

Self-care offers an introspective view of the whole rather than the narrow, restricted view that comes from a stress-oriented perspective. Listen to the messages of your life with a deeply compassionate and empathetic ear and watch how your life responds.

Start where you are, honoring all of who you are, and then…. take the next courageous step to creating the life of your dreams. Now is the time.

Thank you for reading my posts. I hope you find them supportive, if so, please comment and share. Come with me on this journey to set your life in motion. Sign up for my newsletter, and interact with me on my social media channels, I love hearing from you.

We are in this life together, learning, growing and healing from one another. Awareness of this truth is the essence of humanity.

Peace on the trail…
