Welcome, November! This month is all about balance: creating balance in our mental, emotional, spiritual, energetic, and physical beings and our connection with Spirit.
It is also a great month to balance our masculine and feminine energies and bring balance between our work and purpose. This month will also help us balance the Sun and Moon energy within each of us. The number 11 is a master number, with a strong vibrational energy. Listening to your inner self will be key for us this month.
Some people love the holidays and some become stressed, and this year uncertainties are part of the mix. Use your incoming balanced energy to your advantage as we gather and give thanks for what we have in our lives. Go with the flow and allow the Universe to deliver unplanned surprises. You will find that the more you can have an attitude of gratitude the more things can come into alignment for you.
Let’s be real, you are a different person than you were last year, so allow yourself to truly process that. It is also imperative to connect with your Guides and Divine Support Team during this time. Check out this guided meditation: And, finally, learn to trust yourself this month, because when you trust in yourself you are also telling the Universe that you trust in its guiding loving hands.
Mercury retrograde ends November 3rd (Election Day in the US), Mars is in retrograde until November 13th, Neptune is in retrograde until November 28th, Uranus is in retrograde until January 2021, and, finally, Chiron is in retrograde until December 12th. As you can see, there is a lot of planetary activity still going on, especially since we are still in the post-shadow periods of Saturn and Pluto retrogrades. Spirit shows me that this is a month of integration. So watch how your physical body responds and you integrate everything you have been through.
Here are some other important things to be on the lookout for this month:
November 11th–12th—Northern Taurids Meteor Shower: The Northern Taurids is a long-running minor meteor shower producing only about 5 to 10 meteors per hour. This shower is, however, famous for producing a higher than normal percentage of bright fireballs. The shower runs annually from October 20th to December 10th. It peaks this year on the night of the 11th and morning of the 12th. The thin Crescent Moon will not be much of a problem this year, leaving dark skies for what could be a really good show. Best viewing will be just after midnight from a dark location far away from city lights. Meteors will radiate from the constellation Taurus but can appear anywhere in the sky.
November 15th—New Moon in Scorpio: The Moon will be located on the same side of the Earth as the Sun and will not be visible in the night sky. This is the best time of the month to observe faint objects such as galaxies and star clusters because there is no moonlight to interfere. This is a powerful New Moon that can bring up things that have been hidden or that maybe you haven’t wanted to look at. With this New Moon, once you look at things that may have been challenging to face, you will up-level and start being prepared in an even greater way for those things to manifest in your life.
November 16th–17th—Leonids Meteor Shower: The Leonids is an average shower, producing up to 15 meteors per hour at its peak. This shower is unique in that it has a cyclonic peak about every 33 years where hundreds of meteors per hour can be seen. The last of these occurred in 2001. The shower runs annually from November 6th to 30th. It peaks this year on the night of the 16th and morning of the 17th. The Crescent Moon will set early in the evening, leaving dark skies for what should be an excellent show. The best viewing will be from a dark location after midnight. Meteors will radiate from the constellation Leo but can appear anywhere in the sky.
November 30th—Full Moon and Penumbral Lunar Eclipse in Gemini: The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be fully illuminated. This Full Moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Beaver Moon because this was the time of year to set the beaver traps before the swamps and rivers froze. It has also been known as the Frosty Moon and the Dark Moon. Gemini is the sign of the Twins and can also bring up duality for some people. What Spirit shows me is that this is the best time to release any ways of thinking that are no longer serving your greatest good. There is also a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse this day, which occurs when the Moon passes through the Earth’s partial shadow or penumbra. During this type of eclipse, the Moon will darken slightly but not completely. The eclipse will be visible throughout most of North America, the Pacific Ocean, and northeastern Asia including Japan, but the energy will be felt wherever you are.
There are times when we feel that things may not be moving in the direction that we felt or planned, but Spirit shows us that there is so much going on in the background and all the pieces are coming together. So hang in there, because you are doing much better than you think.
My work views all the elements of being a human—the physical, emotional, and mental—as deeply intertwined… It is from this whole-person perspective that we can best identify the underlying causes of our struggles and empower ourselves to heal.
There are many ways I can help you no matter where you are on your life’s path. Let’s start with my books and the membership program.
