Winter Solstice: A Day of Power | ItI’m interested in ancient rituals and celebrations. The more I practice self care practices the more I experience the vitality of energy in my life. I am drawn to traditions that help me utilize my energy and nature’s energy to it’s greatest potential.

This coming Monday, December 21st, Winter Solstice is upon us. So what does this mean to your life? That is completely up to you. Great opportunity for healing exists in these moments of heightened energetic potential. If you wish to align yourself with the energetic flow of nature, in support of resetting and rebalancing your life, it is important to pay attention to these opportunities. There are many times throughout the year when the energy that binds our physical world and our spiritual world together is especially powerful. We can feel this in the energetic flow of the monthly full and new moons and the Summer and Winter Solstices.

During these times, amazing changes can happen. It is a beautiful time to set intentions, release concerns and resolve disparity. These time usher in great potential for healing and change.

So, how will you spend your Winter Solstice? You don’t have to turn to the ancient rituals of our forefathers like I am drawn to. You can honor the day however you want to – all that matters is that you pay attention to it. This is a day of great potential. How will you use it? What dream do you want to come true? What change do you want to make stick?
