Ayurveda Spring Cleanse | ItSpring and fall are transitional times of the year when our climates change radically. When we understand this, we have the opportunity to support these changes with healthy habits and activities. This April, I will follow the Colorado Cleanse with Janelle as she guides a group of us through a journey of healing. The information is below. Kapha time of year is here! The snow is melting and sun is shining. Mother Earth is waking from her slumber. It is about embracing change and detoxifying our minds and our bodies. This season embodies the following qualities of Earth and Water: heavy, slow, stable, cool, moist, sticky, and grounding.

Ayurveda is about balance of the opposites, so this spring, how can you invoke lightness and movement into your life? How do you light your own inner fire? Get outside and move your body! Work up a sweat! Eat lighter, spicier foods! Wear bright colors! Subtle shifts make for great change.

Transition into Kapha/Spring season is the perfect time to cleanse. In Ayurveda, the most ideal times to cleanse are between seasons when the body, mind, and Mother Nature are in a state of change.

Starting in April, I am guiding an amazing group through the fantastic Colorado Cleanse, a specialized Ayurvedic program designed by one of my mentors, Dr. John Douillard. This nourishing cleanse not only allows you to rid the body of toxins and reset your organs, it clears the mind and awakens the soul.
